Both you and the dealer are dealt five cards in Caribbean Poker. You see all five of your cards but you only see one of the five cards held by the Caribbean Poker dealer. It is at this point that you have to make a decision. You can surrender and lose your ante, or bet. If you decide to bet you will be betting twice the size of ante. You must beat the dealers hand to win.

The dealer must qualify. In order to do this the dealer's hand must contain at least at least Ace/King high. If the dealer does not have an Ace/King high the player wins a 1 to 1 payout on his ante. Your bet is returned to you intact. It is best to to keep in mind that a pair of deuces with put the dealer in the game, or any other small pair. Caribbean poker is a game of blind luck. If you are normally lucky this is the game for you. The luckier that you are the better the payout for you. Caribbean Stud Poker Hand Values: Three real rewards come when you make good hands. The payouts are much higher than just the 1 to 1 payout. Unfortunately to win the extra money the dealer needs to qualify. While these payouts look really good and it is possible to make money playing this game, you should keep in mind that this is a total house game. The three to one odds that they payout for three of a kind is a lot lower than the actual odds of getting three of a kind in any dealt hand. It cannot be stressed enough that if you are not just naturally lucky give this game a pass. even playing it for free is no fun because, without luck, it will get real frustrating. Caribbean Poker is a good game for the long winter afternoons or nights when there is too much dark outside and it is colder than hell.
